BEVLS is currently in beta. The marketplace is available for early use while we continue testing, improving, and expanding the platform.

1. What beta means
During beta, BEVLS features, workflows, marketplace content, and availability may change as we learn from users and continue development.
Some functionality may be incomplete, temporarily unavailable, modified, or removed. You may also encounter errors or unexpected behavior.
2. Marketplace purpose
BEVLS is designed to help medical device research and development teams discover components, materials, suppliers, manufacturing capabilities, and related company information.
BEVLS is intended for sourcing, research, prototyping, development, and related business activities. Information on BEVLS is not medical, clinical, regulatory, engineering, or legal advice.
3. Supplier and listing information
Component listings, supplier profiles, capabilities, facilities, and other marketplace information may be provided by participating suppliers.
Buyers and other users should independently confirm product specifications, availability, suitability, regulatory requirements, and other information before relying on a component or supplier for a particular application.
4. Supplier credentials
BEVLS may review documentation submitted by suppliers for supported credentials or registrations and display indicators when that review has been completed.
A BEVLS credential indicator means that BEVLS reviewed the submitted documentation for the displayed credential. It does not constitute a certification, endorsement, guarantee, or determination that a supplier or component is suitable for a particular use.
5. Purchases and payments during beta
BEVLS may display component pricing, availability, quantities, and cart functionality during beta.
Marketplace payment processing is not currently active. Features related to purchasing, checkout, seller payments, and other commerce workflows may be added or changed as the platform develops.
6. Feedback
Beta users are encouraged to report problems, suggest improvements, and tell us when they cannot find the components or suppliers they need.
Feedback may be used to improve BEVLS, prioritize features, refine marketplace workflows, and improve the overall user experience.
7. Service availability
Because BEVLS is under active development, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access during the beta period. Maintenance, testing, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect the platform.
